Do not use duct tape or packing tape, only use tape meant for the body like KT Tape or TransTape. If the tape you're using is causing skin.

Duct tape is not the same as medical tape, and afaik kt/trans tape are made of medical grade tape. It breathes more, it allows movement, and hurts the skin less. It's made of (probably) cotton fibers and glue, where's actual tape is a piece of plastic with a sticky side. Duct tape is to hold things for as long as they possibly can hold.
